Part-Time Theater Operations Assistant
Cultural Arts Playhouse – Syosset, NY

The Cultural Arts Playhouse is looking for a reliable and energetic Part-Time Theater Operations Assistant to help support the behind-the-scenes work that keeps our theater running smoothly.

This position is perfect for CAP alumni, theater lovers, or anyone who enjoys the technical and backstage side of theater and wants to stay involved in the creative process.

What you’ll help with:

  • Assisting with set builds, installations, and strikes

  • Helping prepare the theater for upcoming productions

  • Supporting general organization and upkeep of theater spaces

  • Assisting staff with show changeovers, load-ins, and special projects

What we’re looking for:

  • Reliable transportation is required

  • Someone dependable who can work independently and take direction

  • Ability to help move and lift set pieces and materials

  • Positive attitude and willingness to jump in where needed

  • A love of theater and teamwork

Schedule:
Part-time hours based around production needs. Some evenings and weekends may be required depending on show schedules.
