Mike Newman
Mike is thrilled to be cast as Gomez with this wonderful cast. He is equally thrilled to be returning to CAP when he has previously appeared in Man of La Mancha (Quixote), Little Shop (Audrey II voice), Annie (Warbucks), Hairspray (Edna), Les Mis (Javert) and Ragtime (Tateh). He also lends his voice over talents to CAP from time to including Bye Bye Birdie (Ed Sullivan) and Altar Boyz (Voice of God). Full (almost) disclosure.
Jill Cohen-Wilson (Grandma) thrilled to be discovering her inner 102 year old self as Grandma. She was last seen on the CAP stage Emma Goldman in “Ragtime.” Also at CAP, Jill was seen as Lisa in “A New Brain,” Mrs. Potts in “Beauty and the Beast,” and Miss Hannigan in “Annie.” Other favorite roles include Mame in “Mame,” Bloody Mary in “South Pacific,” Mona in “Best Little Whorehouse in Texas,” and Angel in “The Rink.” As always, love and thanks to Mom, Dad and Carli. And thanks, Tony, for the opportunity to play such a fun role with this wonderful cast! Time to make some potions!
Rachel Goerke
Rachel Goerke (Ancestor) is thrilled to be apart of "The Addams Family"! This is her 9th year at the Cultural Arts Playhouse, some of her favorite credits include "Penny" in Hairspray, "Gertrude McFuzz" in Seussical, "Cosette" in Les Misérables and "Maria" in West Side Story. Rachel thanks Tony and The Addams Family cast and crew for welcoming her into the family! Additional thanks to Mom, Dad and Jenna for their unconditional love and support. Rachel is over the moon to be at "the grown up table" for her first Mainstage experience in CAP's Plainview location.

Lindsey Von Elm- Wednesday Addams- Lindsey is absolutely thrilled to start this journey and bring everyone's favorite, slightly deranged family onstage as the dark but loving Wednesday. Lindsey is 17 and a senior at Mepham High School, and is incredibly involved in her school's drama club. Theatre has always been a passion of hers, and she has been seen in numerous productions such as Hairspray, The Sound of Music, or You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. She's super excited & grateful for this opportunity! Can't wait to see you all at the show!
