Meet the cast of Oliver

Justin Frank (Oliver) is ecstatic to be performing in the Roslyn CAP production of Oliver! You may have last seen him in the West Hollow Middle School production of Little Shop of Horrors (Orin). He was previously in Plainview CAP productions of HONK! (Ugly), Bye Bye Birdie (Albert Peterson), Ragtime (Edgar) and Fiddler on the Roof.  

He would like to thank his family and his directors, Diane, Tom, Bruce, Tony and Marc for all their support and guidance.

Meet The cast of Oliver

Jocelyn Goldman (9) is excited to make her CAP Main Stage debut as one of Nancy’s Girls as well as a member of Fagin’s Gang.   Jocelyn was most recently seen as Yente, the matchmaker, in Plainview’s YPT production of Fiddler on the Roof.  Jocelyn’s first CAP performance was as Arista in Plainview’s YPT production of The Little Mermaid Jr.  She also enjoyed playing Downy, a duckling, in Honk Jr. in Plainview YPT. Jocelyn is a third grader at Robbins Lane Elementary School in Syosset.  She enjoys singing, writing and reading.  Jocelyn loves spending time playing Minecraft with her brothers and hanging out with her friends.

Meet the cast of Oliver- a family affair!

Stacey Weinberger (Rose seller/Mrs. Bedwin cover- Stacey is pleased to be performing in her first show at the Cultural Arts Playhouse.  Stacey is overwhelmed with excitement to be sharing the stage with her daughter Alexa and her son Benji. Stacey has been performing most of her life throughout New York and Boston. Some of her favorites include Diana Morales in A Chorus Line, Anita in West Side Story, Tzietel, Hodel and Chava in three separate productions of Fiddler on the Roof and Jo March in Little Women. Next up she will be playing the part of Inga in Young Frankenstein with the Herricks Community Players in May... Many thanks to everyone in the cast and crew for making this show so much fun! Stacey sends all her love to her husband Todd, their children Alexa, Zach and Benji and her family and friends for always being so supportive! Love you all!!

Alexa Weinberger (Bet/Nancy's girl)- Alexa is excited to be performing in Oliver in her first CAP MainStage production. This show is extra special  to her because she has her mom Stacey and her youngest brother Benji on stage with her. She has been performing with CAP in the YPT shows in Roslyn for the last 3 years. Some of her favorites here include Cinderella in Into the Woods, JoJo in Seussical,  Kim in Bye Bye Birdie, Liesel in The Sound of Music and Lily St. Regis in Annie.
Other credits include Bielke in Fiddler on the Roof with the Sid Jacobson Community Players, Molly in Annie with the Herricks Community Players and Chip in Beauty and the Beast with the JCC Children's theatre group. Alexa is currently a 5th grader at Harbor Hill Elementary School. She sends her love to her family and friends and lots of kisses to her dog Grady.

Benji Weinberger (Fagin boy) - Benji is so excited to be in his first show EVER! He has been in the audience of his mom and sisters shows for years and decided he wants to have a turn on stage with them! Benji is 7 years old and is currently a 1st grader at Harbor Hill Elementary School. In his spare time, Benji loves playing soccer, roller hockey, skiing,tennis, basketball and of course the Wii and Minecraft. Benji hopes everyone enjoys the show as much as he's enjoying being in it!

Meet the cast of Oliver

Chase Brodsky is a 3rd grader at Robert Seaman Elementary School in Jericho. She enrolled in her first CAP class during the Spring 2014 semester and has since performed in Bye Bye Birdie, The Sound of Music and Oliver. Her other interests include tennis, dance and art. Although relatively new to musical theater, she has found a home away from home at CAP and looks forward to performing in many more productions.

Jack Marshall (Oliver) is excited to be making his Main Stage debut with his CAP teachers and friends.  A fifth grader at Salem Elementary in Port Washington, he enjoys performing in YPT shows (Annie, Seussical, Cinderella, Into the Woods) as well as singing and playing guitar with his band at local venues (The Nutty Irishman, The Bitter End).  When not rehearsing or performing, he enjoys soccer, tennis, hip hop and basketball, as well as hanging out with friends and family.
