S3 -CHANNELING YOUR CREATIVITY
S3 -CHANNELING YOUR CREATIVITY
Tuesday/Thursday 11:30-12:30
1st – 5th Grade
Instructor - Samantha Eagle
We’ll talk about art and theater, and use our creative brains to make crafts based on our discussions! We’ll make masks of wild animals from The Lion King, draw or paint like Georges Seurat in Sunday In the Park with George, make microphones out of old toilet paper rolls, and make a beautiful piece of art using colors that make our hearts happy. The crafts we do, we’ll be trying to use things you can find around the house. If you don’t have any of the things we’ll need, don’t hesitate to reach out! We don’t want accessibility to supplies to stop a child from getting creative! We’ll be using:
A paper plate
Paper (preferably something more heavy-duty than printer paper)
Child-Safe Scissors
Crayons, markers, paint, colored pencils, etc.
Tape and/or glue
A toilet paper roll
