Meet the cast of Oliver!

unnamed.jpg

Chris O’Reilly (Dr Grimwig and other characters of ill repute) Is happy to be making his official CAP Mainstage debut in OLIVER here in Roslyn with one half of his dynamic dramatic daughters.     A minor audience cameo in 25th Annual Putnam Spelling Bee aside, his last appearances on stage were in High School.      Nowadays, he prefers watching Corinne and Kaitlyn light up the stage at the various CAP stages.    Special thanks goes to my patient and always supportive wife, Monica,  my daughters and family and friends.    Thanks to the cast and crew for this experience especially Tom and Diane.    Hope to see you all at a performance.

Sisters take the stage!

Danielle Smith is very excited to making her CAP MainStage debut in Oliver! As a freshman in North Shore High School, she has been in numerous musicals and dramas both at CAP and in her school theatre program. Some of Danielle’s favorite performances she has been a part of at the Cultural Arts Playhouse has been Into the Woods (Bakers Wife), Annie (Grace Farrell), Spring Awakening (Anna), and Cats (Demeter). She has also has performed in various other shows such as Seussical, Grease, and Bye Bye Birdie. Also, she has been in many roles in her school theatre program such as Annie, Much Ado About Nothing, and Into the Woods Jr. Danielle’s other hobbies include gymnastics, surfing, drawing, reading, and photography. She would like to thank her friends and family, especially her little sister Nicole, as well as the entire cast and crew of Oliver for their support.

Nicole is looking forward to being in her very first CAP Main Stage production. She loves working with more experienced actors and actresses, as well as people her age. She loves working hard and feels that the pay off is great. In addition to acting, singing and dancing, she loves to sew and is inspired by all of the amazing costumes that bring the show to life. She is currently a 7th grader at North Shore Middle School and she loves learning about acting as well as academic classes. I thank my family for supporting me in every part that I have big or  small.
